Overall, I would have been even more aggressive preflop with blinds this big. I would have open shoved/shoved over even more often than you did. Also, be careful about overbetting the pot with strong hands like top pair - this is a monster hand HU and you don't want to blow opp out of the pot. When you made the royal, I would definitely have bet more on the turn and river against a calling station like opp seemed to be.
At the end of the day however, you had a number of opportunities to win this tourney when you got your chips in with the best of it but the cards just didn't fall your way. I mostly liked your play; just too bad you lost all those times you were favourite.
1. 76s - I tend to lead the flop with trips, even a minbet will help build the pot. As played, if you are going to C-R then C-R more - make it 1500 or so to go.
5. KK - I would raise it. I haven't seen how you've played up to this point but if you've been raising aggressively then I raise it too, particularly with your read that opp liked to see flops.
10. JTo - I would raise this preflop, I'm actually happy to shove this with blinds as big as they are. Postflop, I am getting in in all day long with top pair on the flop.
17. T9o - I wouldn't give up shoving now, opp has enough chips such that he won't feel compelled to call with ATC.
18. QTo - I definitely shove back preflop since your hand is above average, don't let opp see a cheap flop.
20. T8o - shoving back is definitely OK but with a weaker hand I prefer to check and see a flop.
23. Q2s - woah, why open shove here? You have top pair, why not make a more normal bet like 1200 or so and see if you can get him to call?
26. J80 - vvvvvvvvv nh, well done (I'm jealous because in well over 100k hands I have never seen one of these). I would definitely bet the turn for 1200 however, that disguises your hand very nicely. As played, bet more on the river, a bigger bet gets called often enough to compensate for the times opp folds.
