    Default Happy 4:20

    I went to a 4:20 rally in Niagara Falls today. A few hundred of us paraded through the city smoking dope and then there was a big rally right next to the falls.

    Anyone else do anything cool???

    I remember when I was 14 and thought I was super cool for smoking pot.

    Not a knock at you specifically wesrman, I just think the whole thing is kind of a joke.

    Yeah, I feel the same way about people that drink and are proud simply of the fact that they're drinking too.

    I just mean, who really cares if it's legalized or not? Yeah that'll spark a bunch of people to jump out and say all kinds of little reasons why it's not good enough that people are allowed to smoke it. But there's seriously much better things deserving such large group protests. The vast majority of people taking part in those just want to because "yay pot!"

    Yep thats me basically. I was there just to have fun, but i dont think people should go to jail for getting baked when its legal to get drunk.

    Sorry, I shouldn't even be in this thread. I'm just being a dink for no reason whatsoever. I honestly don't even feel that strongly about the issue I brought up as what I think is dumb.

    actually I completely disagree with you. Legalizing it for the sake of making pot heads everywhere happy is not very deserving. However legalizing it so it can become a regulated and safe industry is extremely important. The blackmarket and criminal underworld created by illegal drugs is one of the most detrimental aspects of our society. The number of people locked up for non-violent crimes and the number of violent crimes that surround the drug trade by far outweigh the problems that the actual drugs causes. The funny thing is though that being illegal does not stop the problems of addiction that the drugs cause, so really whats the point?
