Default 12 turbo - AQ misses against short stack

Weird situation for me.. Might be an easy push (I think so) but this is the first time I'm stuck in a position like this so pls understand if it's too easy.. Just trying to make sure..

Any reads on how he plays postflop?

I think this is actually a tough spot. His most likely holding is a PP and a lot of opps just wont fold them to a push here. On the other hand he might have something dumb like JT or something.

I dunno, I could see leading like 320 and folding to a push over. Leaves us short but blinds still arent too big. I often check behind here and hope to hit a Q or A on the turn.

I would just put him AI on the flop. You have decent fold equity here even though he's getting 2:1 on the call, even if he calls you may already have the best hand and if not your two overcards are likely to be good outs (3:1 against to hit and 2:1 pot odds assuming he calls 100% of the time AND you need to improve - which just isn't always the case).

I raise smaller pf. Something like 3.5x.

As played, I like shoving although im sure an argument could be made for a check behind/delayed cbet.
    Cbet/folding here is terrible.
Although I quite like cbet/calling as perhaps it looks stronger than a shove and might get him to fold out slightly more of his range.

Never do this. If you bet 320 and he shoves over, you will need to call another 272 to see a pot of 1482 which is better than 5:1 odds, and you're never that much of a dog against his range.

Ahh, you're right. I was forgetting he was short, for some reason I was thinking he had us covered.

    Yeah, I shove v's shorty.

ok thanks.. Against a bigger stack this would be c-bet/fold I guess..
