    Default playing like a pussy?

This is kind of an odd and my first post so be easy. I have been playing 200nl live for the past couple of months maybe 10 hours a week or so. At first I admit i played very tight week then i came into what could be considered tight agressive. When i started to play more agressive it seems as though it was always at the wrong time and i got stomped on. Played last night and went right back into my shell. any comments would be appreciated.

(I have been playing poker for close to a year and about 7 or eight months serious. I dont know if i will be coming back to 200 nl for a while due to no bank roll)

As a beginner, you shouldn't be surprised about getting owned at 200NL. There's a big skill jump from 100NL to 200NL, and I'd suggest you play even lower than that. Start reading, esp. the thread on bankroll management. Play within your roll.

Did you win money last night? If so, then you have irrefutable proof that playing in a shell is in fact better than playing aggressively. Stay in your shell and profit.
So you click their picture and then you get their money?

Thats my problem...I know about all the rules of bankroll managment. I cannot play online poker in low stakes and build a roll due to no bank account for my own reasons. Its kind of a tough spot cause i would love to due the right thing which is what your saying. In other words 200nl live is my only choice. and no i did not profit i walked away about $50 down ill win ocasional win pots then slowly go broke due to no cards not flopping anything and 6 to every pot so it is hard for myself to make a stand......this is a wonderfull place to vent lol.

Playing without fear comes from having very very good BR management.

    It's live.

A good 200NL Live game plays like the Poker Stars 1c/2c game.

Agree with Fnord, I play mostly live and the 200NL games are usually pretty humorous because they don't usually have many lower stakes, so it's bad players looking for action.

I'm not sure the style of your play is as important as mixing up your play. I tend to play too passively, but I do ok because I'll mix it up enough to throw people off.

hey, man. Go find a part-time job and come back when you have at least 4k-5k poker bankroll to play 1-2 NL live. Also, i suggest you to read dan's new cash game books and get some idea about how to play tight aggressive style and how to defend against LAG in live weak games.

    *Shrug*

Just bully from position a bit and 3-bet people who raise light with your goodish hands. You don't have to play a lot of hands or compete to be the biggest spewer at the table.
