here's the thing about playing both online and live; if ur one of those people who can stop playing at the drop of a pin, then i strongly suggest playing online. u can also leave, sit out, get something to eat, basically anything u want to do can be done when u play online. and seeing those extra amount of hands per hour definetely helps.
however, i used to play live for a living for almost a year, and the reason it worked out so well was because live games are entertaining. if ur someone like me who has ADD, i get extremely bored with one activity very quickly. playing online for me is difficult because i cant sit there for 8 hours and grind like i can in a live game. in a live game, u have a different environment than wut ur used to (home), it has a much stronger social aspect to it and its easier to get up from a table and leave than it is online.
i dont know, i think im more focused in on the environment of a game than anything. i always like to tell people that if ur not comfortable playing, then ur not going to win. imagine playing poker in 130 degree weather, it would be almost impossible to win. i think wutever u can focus on better should be wut u should play.
