    Default $16 - QJs @ BBL, SB

Rodolphe reviewed this tourney for me and he advices completing.
I would complete at earlier levels for sure, but here I was not sure.

    My comments (to Rodolphe):
I understand why you want to complete… We get over 5:1, however the difference with getting 5:1 with ‘speculative hands’ early are implied odds and stack sizes. At the first 2 levels we have 40-70ish BB’s implied odds and we have a more flexible stack for postflop play. However our hand could very well be best and good enough to stack off if we hit TP.

    Your thoughts and line?
Oh btw, I don't have reads/stats, because it's an old hand. If it's really important than please give your lines vs different players.

    CO: t2515
    BTN: t3965
    Hero (SB): t3820
    BB: t3200

Pre Flop: Hero is SB with Q J
    1 fold, BTN calls t400, Hero ??
I am just another learning player, so read my comments (very) open minded.

awkward spot. If we were a bit shallower i like completing and stacking off with tp/gd combo draws.
As it is I could go either way between calling or folding depending on table flow and whether I thought the players were weak enough for me to exploit in more +ev spots. Calling if I felt they werent, folding if they were.

I think this is close either way. A lot of this depends on the BB. If the BB is aggressive and likely to shove over the two limps then I usually let it go. If the BB is passive then I am happy to complete.

The other question you need to ask yourself is what hands you would be prepared to stack off with here - is Q or J high sufficient?

Is any BB in decently 3rd place likely to shove into 2 preflop limpers that both have him covered on the bubble? I think we complete here and take a flop.

Well, an aggressive BB will (correctly) shove over with a much wider range of hands that he/she would call a raise or shove with. If I was in BB's position and I didn't have a read that Button and SB trapped with monster hands or were limp/callshovetards, I would shove over with something like 44+, A7+, maybe KQ/KJ since a) the dead chips in the pot are such a handy addition to my stack and b) if Button or SB call and lose they will be crippled.

button's limp is actually pretty weird. so you have to have a read on that limp.. If he's been limping and folding a lot you can even push this due to bubble passivity.. If he wasn't limping that much you can just complete and get it in on very good flops (TP+FD, two pair, etc.)
