I never normally slow play, but this is one of the few occasions where I chose too. It's a rainbow board, and a double barrel into the pre-flop raiser with an OESD is something you see on these tables like next to never. I think raising turns my hand pretty much face up, and then he's either folding (most likely), coming over the top to push me off a weak 6 because he's really clever, and I have to fold (least likely), coming over the top with a better 6 (or boat, etc), and I have to fold (mildly likely), or hanging in there for a small amount with QJ, and then c/fing the river (somewhat likely). If he has a better 6, I want a cheap river to boat up. If he has TPWK I want to give him the chance to make TTP, then felt him, or I want the river to be like an 8 so I can represent A8, and get him to call my raise after he makes another tiny bet.
So that's why I slow played, what's the thought process behind not doing so in this spot?
