Why do you bet this flop? Both villains were pretty aggro (button was a good tag reg) and neither was a station postflop. Easy cbet in a 3-bet pot but in a 2-bet pot I think a check is better. Checking this flop induces so many mistakes from aggro players that it's just ridiculous. If I cbet, then I just have to get it in vs a meh range of sets and combos.

I'm obviously not folding. There's no way this donkey checked the nuts twice. The reason I posted this hand is because I'm wondering if calling is better than raising. Do we let him draw and hope he spews some more on the river if he misses? He might be bad enough to call a shove with a flushdraw though.

Flop check is sick. I like peeling one to define hands better and balance out our ranges here.

    re-raise vs call is tough

First thought was to just call, but I really hate to trap with a pair. Shoving can't be too bad because he's certain to have outs.

I like flop check. If you missed, you would most likely check also and you are right that it causes many mistakes from aggro players and is great for metagame because people are afraid to bluff you. Betting is good though.

Yeah I think flop check is fine. It balances our check flop range nicely and if we bet this flop we are likely getting it in close to neutral EV.

I'd prob just shove it in as well.

it doesnt seem to me that balancing our checking range on the flop would help us that much. and like sauce said there is a 64/5 guy in the pot why not just bet and try to get lots of money in the pot vs him.

Meh, ok, bet flop might actually be better here. I probably have pretty good equity against donkeys stack-off range, which I didn't consider before.

I did shove the turn and he snap folded, which is why I thought calling would probably have been better. I guess he didn't even have a draw since donkeys need time to calculate pot odds...

donkeys dont have pot odds, they have feelings

I forgot there was a donk in the pot. yeah, then I prefer a bet. Against two regs I would check a lot.
