I dislike the turn double barrel more than the river triple barrel.

BB range is most likely a small/mid pp 0r sc.
His range for calling flop is probably a set, 8Ts, A9s,T9s,98s,97s,76s, 88,66, (maybe 55 sometimes, maybe TT sometimes)

So turn card 6 is bad one to double barrel vs this range as all the prs picked up str draws,66 made a set, some gapped sc's made a str,76 made 2pr,

I can see the logic for firing the river more (good hands should have let you know by the turn/rarely check river to)but with no scare cards out on that texture its hard to represent alot.

against a laggier opp I'd like it better since a nit here can have a hand as strong as JJ and is less likely to get to the turn with a hand like 78 that kind of has to call turn and fold riv

I still don t hate it if it won't tilt you to get called down by TT-JJ

I agree with what others have said.

I like it less because this villain can have TT/JJ.
Also this turn card is a pretty bad 2nd barrel card, but with the intention of 3rd barreling non-draw-hitting rivers it's not that bad.

I'd like to add that it is probably better to wait when you have some sort of read that villain is weak postflop and is able to fold TPWK type of hands.

I agree with what Noble said. That's a pretty bad card to double barrel.

Most/all hands that called the flop improved on this turn somehow, by either getting two pair or gaining a straight draw.

Especially given that you're in position, just check it through and take the free one. Sometimes your A-high is good even!

River barrel..I don't know. He's never folding once he calls the turn I don't think.

I'm not crazy about the turn barrel, but once he calls that I really hate the river barrel. Nitty or not, he's seldom letting go when THAT card comes off. A spade, a ten, or a five would be way better for firing a third; otherwise I'm just letting him have it.

flop board being relatively dry increases his chances of having slowplayed something all along, and the turn bringing pair + draw type hands increases his chances of him calling... and again river is bad b/c it hits him again

I see this working in spots where 1) You're deeper 2) Opponent realizes these cards are horrible to bluff 3) Opponent can make big laydowns

Since none of these are true id check behind turn 100%, and actually check flop often vs this guy

okay thanks for the replys. sometimes when i think someone is weak i just go nuts and get it all in. im pretty sure he gets it in on the turn, because basically im repping a strong hand. i just get into, fold your fucking pair idiot mode. he called the river and had TT.

I've done that a few times myself but I'm trying to wean myself off of it.

Also, from his stats and your characterization of him, this calldown is a little surprising. Do you have a really LAggy table image? I've done this to players before but only after I had characterized them as borderline spewtards - basically it was like "you want to bluff off a stack? OK, I'm here to satisfy!"
