tbh this is a difficult spot i often find myself in when out of position with this type of hand. First of all id raise it more preflop, probably 250-275. On the flop id bet more than the half pot you bet, 270 as played. If he then calls we can likely gather we are against a better hand such as kj,qj,55,22 etc. Your bet encourages other marginal hands to come along for the ride such as Ax and possibly other pps who even if behind can steal it on the turn if checked to. Furthermore i lean towards a fold on the turn as i cant really see what you are beating that he is betting, and with chips so precious in tourneys id just let it go.

Bet more. 3xBB + 1BB/limper preflop so 250ish, if you're gonna cbet the flop make it 2/3-3/4 pot, 300 sounds good. Over 4:1 on your money on turn makes it a tough fold but I can't really see what you beat here, apart from lower pps and a bluff.

Agree with the others - 250 preflop and as played, a bit more than 1/2 pot as a c-bet, and as played you have to fold the turn.

so do you all play AK/AQ likes this too....with a limper in front, just limp behind?? ive been experimenting, id say its better with aq but i think ak is too strong to just limp...

    any other thoughts?

id play aq,ak and pairs 8s and upwards almost identically preflop and on the flop( obv exceptions would be the super strong hands where id bet smaller ). with ak and aq after raising 250 pre and betting 275 on flop id sometimes checkraise turn with this being oppenent dependent or just more simply bet around 500-600

I'd probably just check the BB with 88; 99+ and AQ+ I'd raise. I'd check AJs and maybe ATs (AJs is pretty close for me with two limpers in front). Definitely raising AQ and AK in this spot.
