First hand, no stats, reads etc... seems standard but I hate playing huge pots right away like this. You play it the same way? I thought about smooth calling flop bet but didn't want to give him a free card if hes betting a draw.

Doesnt shwo bets but i raised 120 pre, he raised 230 on flop and I raised it to 690. I think my 3 bet is too big.

Seems good to me, I play it the same. The size of your flop raise is good - there are 500 chips in the pot when it gets to you, so you raised about the size of the pot. Maybe you could have made it an even 600 but I don't think it would have made any difference to the way the hand played out.
