Default retarded preflop spot with JJ 150 deep

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($602.50)
    Button ($481)
    SB ($513.30)
    BB ($424)
    UTG ($511.60)
    UTG+1 ($443)
    MP1 ($744.20)
    MP2 ($800.30)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J, J.
    2 folds, MP1 raises to $12, MP2 calls $12, Hero calls $12, 1 fold, SB raises to $60, 1 fold, MP1 calls $48, MP2 calls $48, Hero...

SB is billzfan a 16/13 who I consider one of the better regulars in these games . He's really aggro and he definitely can be doing this without a hand. MP1 is Friar Skank, a 17/11 who I don't have any respect for because I've seen him make some garbage calldowns in the past. He might actually be bad enough to call this 3-bet with something like T9s. MP2 is amarillion who I have at 20/11 but no reads to speak of. Should I just monkey my stack in here even though we're 150 BB deep? What if I had TT or AQs?

no. given your reads you should tho, but i think your reads are wrong, at least your read that SB can squeeze light. im sure he can, but it aint happening that often in fullring especially when 11pfr raises from MP.

however, i would muuuuch rather do this with AK. in fact it may be great with AK. just call the jacks, thats definitely not wrong given strength and how easy post flop will play. actually given that its way right.

flattin ur 4bets, makin u tilt
given how friggen easy it will be to play postflop, just call. fold if the squeezer bets on the flop and you don't have a set. if they all check , bet no matter what is on the board.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

With position I take a flop here.

Yeah I would call in position but I don't fault making it $200

Yeah I agree with you guys after the fact but I'm a tourney donk at heart so I shoved. SB and MP1 folded real fast, and MP2 instacalled with TT. Do people really give that little credit in these spots in general? I've probably backraised fewer than 5 times in my life with a full stack so I wouldn't know.

This is definitely a spot where people give you little credit. I do this sometimes when flatting a raise OTB with a big hand in 6-max. I often get a squeezer from the blinds or the original raiser to get it in light.

problem is they can put you on a very narrow range and play their hand perfectly

In live games I see 66-88 a lot from backraises. Often worse.

I'm a postflop sucker so I would have called, like everyone else I guess.

But I like this hand, it's a rare spot with interesting decisions for all players/positions if you play around with ranges and hands a bit.

his call with TT probably isnt bad. hes very rarely up against AA KK QQ from this backraise, and is more often against AK or if hero is bad some crap

backraises dont get much respects as well they shouldnt
