    Dealt to Hero [Qd As]
Hero: raises 1555 to 1705 and is all-in <-- This is one of those spots where I never fold, but SNG Wiz always tells me I should. I am the short stack here, and even if I put everyone on a ridiculously tight range, like 8%, this is a fold. Do you guys regularly fold in spots like this?

I didn't want to threadjack. Can someone explain to me why this would be a fold? I'm pretty much never laying down AQ to no action, if it's wrong, then I'll change, but I want to know why.

This is never a fold because its pretty close to an unexploitable shove. Its important to adjust the calling ranges of the opponents to see how this affects the EV of the hand. No matter what the calling range of the button and sb are this will always be a +EV shove and the BB needs to be calling with 35% in order to make it a -EV shove, and hes never calling that wide.

As I said in my reply to zachaser's other thread, it can also depend on the ranges that we use for the other players to get it AI with each other if we fold. The default ranges in SNG Wiz are often too loose for this.

If we assume that Button and SB call our shove with 8% (66+, AT+) and BB calls with 15% (33+, A7o+, A4s+, KTs+) and if we fold Button pushes 8% and the others call with 5%, or if we and Button fold then SB pushes 12% and BB calls with 15%, shoving our AQo is +0.15% EV.

This is a hugely +EV spot to push. The ranges you're using must be well off the mark.
Just dipping my toes back in.

    Thanks guys.

bj- I can't use WIZ, I have a Mac, the numbers and note (except for the question) is from zachaser's thread.
