What are you asking? That is good preflop, nothing fancy. Got lucky on the flop. I like the small bet on the flop. Those kind of bets look weak and can induce a raise more often than not. ElipsesJeff talks about it in his MTT vids, and the early stages of SNGs are like MTTs, so its a very good play.

    Then A4 overshoves! Shipitholla!

You played it fine, happy profiting!

Sure thing. I'm guessing NC has something to do with the fact that I'm not looking for advice?

I had one the other day whilst playing a cash game somewhat underolled.

AA raise from UTG+1, BB loose donk calls, both have stacks around $60 (at 50nl - told you I was playing underolled . . still)

flop is an amazing A9A and I'm thinking how the heck do I get paid here. He bets 3/4 of the pot and I'm thinking wahey, type in chat box "You have nothing" and donk mini raise him . . . he then promptly shoves the rest of his stack over the top and ends up showing KK. Lovely job

So yeah these flops are delightful even more so when someone else pushes. One of the advantages of never slow-playing a set, is when people just tend to think your full of air, that's always nice.

Yes, SO many donks (possibly from watching too much TV poker) think that every time you flop a monster hand you have to slowplay, therefore if you actually bet they'll never believe you've got it. A couple of years ago I even had a player at a $6.50 telling ME that I played my flopped set badly because I bet the flop and turn then instacalled his shove rather than check/calling!

Haha.. sounds like a sore loser to me. There are a few situations where slow play is good, but the vast majority of the time it's better to bet and get the money in the pot. Or in these examples, just call their shove.
