FTP Knockout Rundown

Just posting some recent stats on the FTP knockout 3$ sitngo 90 plr basically presenting the looseness of the knockout format which benefits gear changing laags/taggs, with a good understanding of ICM.
the format is good because it gives people the illusion that it is speculatively +ev to be looser than normal.

recent stats have been posted because FTP have recently updated their system to include knock outs in the tournament readout of ur tournament history and you can clearly see that it is slightly -ev based on the "lure" of the bounty alone. however it is +ev because there are many players, even perceptively strong players with big stacks willing to stack off with Ax (7-) OH YES. I SHIT U NOT. stacking is easy in these tournaments. get aq+ 99+(oh yes, its this low) and get it in in most situations.
i am looking at the 10$ format to move up to in a few weeks once the bankroll gets to about 900$ and ill see how loose the format is at that level. will update when i start to play this level.

jumped my roll a little bit by playing in this 90 plr MTT with 50 buys ins however have made some progress into my look at the more expensive 10$ tournament.
havent really adjusted my play in the higher buy in.
stangely seeing a few more over bets and some more c bet raising but most of the time the c bet raising is bullshit and i just lie down and play dead until i get tp ace kicker or trips
able to do more deception by raising lil pairs and seeing a lot more turns and rivers when i c bet making some plays like c betting inside broad way draws in position to get 2 free cards.
if i do make my hands with the low probability c betting semi bluffs i have been called several times by flopped 2pr or similar when the opp plays too passive which is good.
not seeing so many over shoves when i play my large pairs strongly which is a strong part of my game which kinda sucks. also not seeing as much top pair ace kicker stacks offs when i play my over pair like a half bluff c bet. grr i love people stacking off with these hands.

just updating again. just played another tourney got a bit low in M value and got my blind raised utg+1 by a big stack i call 1/4 my stack seeing odds with antes and my bb with K9o hit the king and i get stacked off by connectors trying make me fold as i set out to check raise all in. he 2prs up on the turn and im out. pretty glad to get it in vs a big stack 80%-20% favorite.
the stack off ranges and silly stuff that agro big stacks do in this format really havent changed as the buy in has increased. hope to get some solid game time in tomoz prolly gonna start playing 4 tables simultaneously and if i drop to 30 buy ins ill drop down again to the 3$ buy in

they are on all the time its a sit and go format. look for the 3$ 10$ and 26$(i think) formats on full tilt poker.

ok so i played a lot over the weekend and set a limit for a drop of 20 buy in drop at the 10$ buy in level.
i was running bad.
my play was pretty standard and i didnt stack off needlessly in a super donkey fashion like i know that its possible for me to do in the 10$ format.
however i bubbled 6 times and cashed twice 1x 5th for 50$ and one 8th for 20$ and i had a total of 25 knock outs for 26 buy ins.
so my net loss was about 200$ however i bubbled with large stacks a few times making massive +ev pushes with stuff like qq+ aq+ and the occassional small pocket pair out of the blinds. i bubbled about 8 times and i definately would have made final table if i hadnt had such a run of bad luck in those situations. my friend was watching for a few hours on saturday and he just had his head on the desk as i lost flip after flip and stuff like aces to jacks in one particularly bitting push by a large stack who had me covered with me holding aces where he spiked his jack (standaaarrd....).
ive dropped down to the 3$ again after dropping down to 300$ and ive only played 10 or so far and got a 5th and a 2nd already. so im staying at 3$ for now as some of the stuff these players are pushing at this level is probably yomi layer 1 and im on yomi 3..... sick. stuff like ace rag and top pair ace kicker into my over pair reraises.... juicy.

update!
ok so i bought back in for the minimum 50$ lost the first lot :/ bad beat land loved me for that week.
bought back in for 50$ again earlier this week.
had some seriously laughable knockouts quite a few times bringing my roll down to 27$ earlier this morning.
the shear amount of ace rag to my pocket pair of 99+ getting busted was REALLY starting to get on my nerves. however i realise that my shoves in these spots are +ev so the results have to come in eventually.
and then FINALLY my solid poker paid off.

hit a big run earlier and my good poker and got payed off in a big way.

earlier tonight i was at three 3$ final tables at once (SICK) got a 4th 3rd and 2nd for mega bankroll boom.

so after a few shots at some 10$ six max and winning the last one of those im up to 190$ which presents some serious +ev for multi tournamenting at the 3$ format.
