Weak-tight Bubbles Kinda Piss Me Off!
I just bubbled on the most weak and tight table in history....seriously. I was aggressive...very aggressive and I ducked when any of them decided to fire unless I had the cards. Now heres my problem/question:
When dealing with these players-- none of them know ANYTHING about proper push/fold ICM-- what do you do when thinking about stack sizes in relation to your aggression? So often there would be a guy in the SB with 6,000 in chips, the blinds are 200/400, and the BB has 2,000 chips left. ------SB folds. BB wins the pot----- W-T-F???!!!! This really pisses me off every single time because I know to shove ATC because of ICM play. Meanwhile you're trying to get into the money, and somewhat waiting for the shorty to leave.
What should I do when this is happening at my table? The short stacks aren't going anywhere it seems.... I'm being aggressive and taking down many pots PF...my monsters aren't getting any value because everyone is folding.... the blinds absolutely REFUSE to shove anything or play any BVB play, the bubble is going on FOREVER!
Then someone finally calls my shoving. I lose because he had a monster...Now I'm short stacked and angry... I get another call...I'm out. The short stacks should have been taken out by ICM play a LONG LONG TIME ago....I'm more pissed lol.
What is your strategy?
