Default When the blinds are high, what's the point?

Ok I have been playing quite a lot of SNG's lately and winning mostly, but I hate how when the blinds start to go up it becomes bingo. Push or fold.
Just now I was eliminated in the bubble when I lost AK to 46, and subsequently A9 to K5... Very frustrating.
When it becomes a push or fold game, skill plays a side-role and makes way to luck. So what's the point?

Maybe I should play more ring games...

Um, no. Playing good push/fold poker is a skill just like playing deep stacked poker. Sure, you will get sucked out on as often as you should but if you're getting your chips in good, in the long run you'll come out ahead.

If you want to post specific hands or tourneys, we'll take a look since there are specific situations when calling an all-in with AK or A9 can be a mistake.
