Default Did I play this hand badly?

Just played this hand in a 1.10 SNG at stars.

I was in the SB so maybe I played it out of position.

After all the other players had limped in my thinking was that I would try and eliminate some by putting in a big raise. After the flop I pushed all in as I was pretty sure that I had the best hand, and that if I didnt take down the pot right there, I would double up from anyone who called me.

Im opedipus bitch, the original balla.
I would have played it differently and only limped with TT here in the SB. TT is a premium hand worth betting/raising, generally. The bad thing here is that you are raising after 4 limpers from the worst position at the table. If called (and you generally will be due to this being a $1.10 and people love to limp/call with crap such as K9, Q8, J8, etc.), TT will be hard to play if the flop is overs. So unless you hit a set or have an overpair on the flop, your not in great shape.

As played, there is no need to push the flop. You have a good hand so make a nice bet to extract value properly. Generally the only hand that will call that allin is a hand that beats you (in this case your opponent had TP + FD).

I like the preflop raise, I would bet pot on flop and push turn

I agree with XxStacks, with that many limpers in front I would just complete the SB and see if we can hit a set. Alternatively, if you want to raise, I would make it 4x BB + 1x BB for each limper = 160 to go. At a $1.10 tourney I am not sure whether this is better however as you still may get called in multiple places and end up playing the hand out of position.

As played, I agree with the others, there is no need to shove on the flop. There are about 600 chips in the pot, I bet 500 and get the rest in on the turn.

This early, this hand is played for set value ONLY! You will get called in a $1 by every draw on the planet all the way to the river, so keep it cheap. No more than 2/3 pot bets and any calls/raises, I'm slowing down/shutting down.

Thanks for the responses. Having thought about it, there really is no need for me to push here, especially since it is so early on in the game.
