    Default Bad push here?

18 person $10 on stars (pay 4 places) Table has tightened up big time on bubble. That's one reason I think I misplayed this hand. I may have been able to raise a small amount and have the table fold. What do you think?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (5 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero (t2765)
    SB (t7935)
    BB (t2725)
    UTG (t9880)
    MP (t3695)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q, K.
    2 folds, Hero raises to t2740, 1 fold, BB calls t2300 (All-In).

    Flop: (t5140) 2, 8, 9 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Turn: (t5140) 8 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    River: (t5140) 6 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: t4725
It's not how many pots you win, it's what's in them that counts.

Seems fine to me with KQs, <8x BB stack and folded to on the button.

If you're playing this hand I don't think there's any alternative to shoving it since raising to 1000/folding to a shove would be terrible and if you just get flat called you're pretty much pot committed.

This is a fine push because you are one of the short stacks at the bubble.. You have to make some moves... If you were bigger stacked or other two were shorter stacked then maybe you could fold this..
