Default $12 Take the potential flip here with AK??

If the villain showed me a PP I might have folded but I suspect some weaker Aces since it's a 12..

I'd give it 1 fistpump, then follow it up with 2 more when he flips over A6o or some crap like that.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

ok I feel relieved now.. I won this hand but somewhere I read a topic about not calling here because it might be a flip etc.. thanks..

My read in this situation, depending on what's happened so far, is he is just defending his blind.. basically telling you to go F yourself on messing with his BB. His range is Acrap, Kingcrap, a small pocket pair, or just plain crap.. you are only a coinflip with a small part of that range. If he has AA or KK I doubt he shoves.. I'd snap call here with Ajs or better.

I feel like this is usually donks scared of seeing a flop with 77-1010 and sometimes A10+. I think its borderline but I call cuz fuck him, I hate his shove and you dominate his Ax hands enough of the time. I guess it depends if you put Ax in his range. So actually pretty easy if you do include those hands.

You can run the ICM on this which is as follows:
    - If you fold you will have 1410 chips worth 10.5% of the prize pool
    - If you call and win you will have 3040 chips worth 20.5% of the prize pool
    - If you call and lose you will have 105 chips worth 0.9% of the prize pool.

Therefore, you need to be (10.5-0.9)/(20.5-0.9) = 49% to win to make this a good call. If opp is just shoving pocket pairs QQ and under (it is possible but unlikely they play AA and KK like this) then you actually can't profitably call here because you're only 47.6% to win, but if you add AK and AQ into the mix it becomes a much easier call.

In 12s I don't think you can't not put some Ax in his range.. So if you agree with me this is fine.. he turned over QQ but I got the A on the turn..

This is a hand that needs to be folded at higher buyins because its definitely a flip. Below $20, all the Ax crap you see here makes it a call. I'm trying to remind myself of this frequently.
