I think you're over-rating the value of your 2 pr hands on later streets. A wise man once told me that with 2 pr you've got to get your money in early and make them really pay to play, because by the turn or the river you're often beat, especially if any potential draws come in. I bet more on the flop in both, check the river in hand 2, and fold to both shoves (although I'm weak tight).
The QQ hand is just a cooler. Unlucky there.
