    Default What does villain hold?

People seem to float c-bets all the time at these stakes. Take from that what you will.

Villain is 15.6/12.3/1.43 after 57 hands. I'm having trouble putting him on a range on the river. I think PF he has PPs, SCs, AK/AQ type hands, with AK rarely being seen.

After the calls I'm thinking TPGK/2 pair, slowplayed set even, but most likely TPGK.

After the river c/r it's either a bluff or rivered 2pair/set.

    That correct?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($76.30)
    MP ($70.55)
    Button ($38.05)
    SB ($49.25)
    BB ($59.75)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with TWO CARDS.
Hero raises to $2, 2 folds, SB calls $1.75, 1 fold.

    Flop: ($4.50) T, 2, A (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4, SB calls $4.

    Turn: ($12.50) Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8, SB calls $8.

    River: ($28.50) 8 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $7, SB raises to $25, Hero calls $18.

    Final Pot: $78.50

It's a little hard to tell because of your douchey river bet that invites a bluff. That puts more bluffs in his range than usual. I have a hard time guessing his made hands, although I'm sure there are some, because it seems improbable he'd be in there with 88 on that board after two good bets, and most other decent hands would have raised earlier because the board gets quite dangerous by the turn.

My best guess is Ax or a bluff. It would help to know what you think your own table image is, and what you think he might think your table image is.

At this point I've been stealing blinds frequently, 3-betting some blind steal attempts light. Other than that I'm running around 18/14/4 or so. I don't remember much other than that.... What is the best play on the river instead of douching it up given that I have better than TPTK?

Hmm - what do you have, AT/AQ, something like that? I'd just make a standard late street value bet, maybe $14 or so, and hope he looks you up with his worse ace or whatever he has. As played I think you have to call, unless you somehow have 82. Which I hope you did not.

I think the better question is, what does HERO have that he's only betting $7 into $25 or whatever on this river??

Hero has like QJ or something, KQ going for thin value?

I agree with previous posts. Villain can have anything after the small bet... definitely possible he's realizing his two pair is good and value shoving now, since you'd bet more with KJ or AQ or something.

I had AT. The small bet was a v-bet...now I realize I should have bet more. But I cawled and he flips AQ FTW

He engaged the randomizer on that hand. His line is really weird.
