Default AQo to structured re-raise from LAGG ($27)

BB had been raising and 3-betting liberally - stats up to this point were 45/30 over about 25 hands. Is this spew?

It does seem spewy to me. 45/30 were his stats but what are his 3 bet stats from the blinds?

The problem is that you probably don't have enough information about him other than that he seems lag. 3 betting from the blinds is a dift story unless he's confirmed lagtard. fold > push > flat. For now I would let the others at the table take these kinds of risks against him and wait for more info. It's only 2 M lost out of 19 on what is otherwise a play that has questionable EV.

    I like it

30 hands is WAAY too small of a sample size. If you had no stats against him what would you do here? Fold I hope.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

My next sentence drives it home. He's essentially dealing with an unknown opponent so the preface of "BB had been raising and 3-betting liberally - stats up to this point were 45/30 over about 25 hands. " is imperically useless.

Hence the question is do you push over a 3bet from the blinds with your M~=19 holding AQo in a $27 sng?

Funny, I posted this at the other place also and the majority opinion was that they would be delighted to get it in against a player like this.

Re FS' question about his 3-bet stats from the blinds, over 23 hands probably none so far, and none of the hands that he had 3-bet had been shown down.

sure. I think it's a pretty good spot because

we aren't sure he is lag but 45/30s very rarely turn out to be 12/10s. If it turns out he is and just happened to have 2-3 hands to 3 bet with already good luck to him.

He may do something silly like fold a mid pp because he's "dominated or flipping"

He'll almost always call with whatever worse As he's doing this with.

if Tai doesn't make these sorts of plays with AQ vs possible bullies he's going to get run over.

AQ is a top 5% hand and there is a ton of money out there. We're ahead if he does this with top 10% even if he always calls.

Against someone who has been active, I re-shove every time.

Why is this a muck against an unknown?
