    Default $22, 88 flops a set

No reads on villian, didnt have time to look up stats. I thought the turn was interesting given there is still no flush draws. WA/WB spot?

I would pot flop, as played this is a terrible card for you, I think I am check-calling here

I agree, with three opps seeing the flop I make it 250 on the flop.

As played, I probably fire again for 400 or so, not sure that I necessarily give Button credit for having 7x given he called a preflop raise. He could well also have A9 or an overpair like TT, and even if he does have the straight we do have some redraws on the river.

I agree with Tai here on this one. I think you are still ahead here.

I completely agree with saying we are ahead here but the problem is what hands actually call a bet when we fire turn.

if I check call the turn, what should I do on rivers where I don't fill up?

Hop up to level 1 guys, view is awesome. If he has TT or T9 you're just going to have to let him have a free one. Getting bet out of this pot is a disaster, as is folding a lot of the hands that you have drawing dead or two two outs.

I understand the point, but TT+, 9x and similar hands will still likely call a turn bet so why not do so? I'm not worried about "protecting our hand" so much as betting for value to allow us to get all of our chips in on the river without it being an overbet.

Its possible TT would call on the turn, but imo the big majority are folding 9x. JT is really the only hand that could be in villians range that I can get more value from. Again, if we are check/calling all turn bets, what is our plan for rivers where we don't fill up?

I don't agree 9x without the draw calls, so I'm saying there are not enough 'similar hands' that will call. And surely you don't think 9x or TT is calling a river shove?? You want to keep this pot small now, not bloat it. If you boat up you'll get the money in against a 7 no problem - in fact it would be the perfect spot to overbet shove since it will look like you're trying to get him off a split plus any lower boats will call. And if you think an overpair is dumb enough to call on the turn and river they'll probably call the over bet too, although I think they'll fold to either.

also we get a chance to pick off bluffs.
