Default TT on button, facing a reraise $6.50

I've already made up my mind that I am prepared to call a push this hand PF. Previously I have been using irregular bet sizes and I think my bet of 400 looks like a blind steal.

I shouldn't be thinking too hard about calling this right?

EDIT: I forgot about ICM here. Unfortunately I don't have a free version of SNG WIZ anymore to check this, so perhaps some kind soul could check this for me.

SNG Wiz can't help you analyse this one, but if you look in the SNG Tactics digest you'll see a post that I wrote that gives you a methodology for using ICM to analyse it.

That said, this is pretty much a snap call for me too - stack sizes are well set up for BB to try to resteal from you so he could be doing this with a wide range that TT is well ahead of. If he has JJ-AA that's just too bad.

Ah yes, I forgot it can't deal with calling reraises.

Agreed his range is pretty wide here. In the end he showed AQ, which is obviously not that wide and pretty much the sort of hand I expected.

I'm still trying to get the hang of STT's but to me this seems to be a fold... IMO after a raise he's only going to reraise you AI with his healthy stack with high PP or maybe AJ+, either way you're either dominated or taking a coinflip. Feels like we're still too far away from the money to be taking these types of gambles to me. Folding and still having 10+ BB's to play with would be my choice.

In most situations like this BB could very likely have a lower pair. Your button raise could be a steal so BB overbet shoves with 22-99. This is almost never QQ+ too, so I'd say your against a lower pair 55% of the time and on the good side of a coinflip 45% of the time. I'm pretty happy about calling this
