$12 turbo - AQ with 4th diamond on the river

general line check pls.. I called the raise because it was a min-raise and I was getting good odds.. checked the flop since I hit nothing.. turn is the same.. on the river should I bet to fold some low diamonds or just check?

I think river check is fine. If he raises you have to fold, and he could call your bet with any diamond, even a deuce. He minraised pre, so assume he's retarded.

Also, since you called on flop, turn is a great place to put in a bet on this scare card. You'll pick up the pot alot and this should probably be a part of your plan when you are essentially floating with two overs anyway.

Your right, I misread and thought for some reason he made a small bet on flop and you called.

Regardless I think river check is fine and I think betting turn would have been good too.

OOP I'm happy to check this one down too. They will look up a small bet with any diamond so it's one of those situations where you will only get called by hands you beat and not fold anything that beats you.
