Ghostbusters, Jaws, Superman, ET, The Thing, Airplane!, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Back to the Future are all in there.

But it was Superman that I watched every single day for about 2 years so........

need to change this thread favorite movies because not all these movies are from the poster's childhood imo. also, what about Big Trouble in Little China? Epic

and what about Batteries not Included? that was a good one.

yea, I got carried away with just movies and forgot the childhood part.

Although my wife claims that I am still childish most of the time. Does that count?

I really hate it when that happens. I don't even know why we care, we still got to see the movie. But a good movie is like a religion, you're not truly happy until everyone you know is into it too,

Some other movies I loved were Rookie of the Year and Angels in the Outfield. The Sandlot is obviously king of all baseball movies.

    Also, those not saying Sandlot:

    A. Have not seen the movie
    B. Have caught teh ghey
    C. ARE KILLING ME SMALLS

    Oh yeah, Pink Panther.

Too bad I saw it while I was already pretty old, so I did not count it.

    But them were great movies

TMNT 1 and 2 were clearly awesome

Discussion otherwise will be squelched because it is obviously filled with logical fallacies and brimming with stupidity.

Star Wars and its not even fucking CLOSE for anyone born in 68-72 or so. I mean the opening scene where the Star Destroyer fills up the whole screen. Jesus himself could have sat in the seat beside me and I wouldn't have looked away.

This whole sandlot and goonies smack flying around needs addressed. Seriously, alot of us were a bit old for those to be considered a childhood movie. And honestly, neither were THAT great. sandlot was a good film but come on, you can't compare it to Star Wars. That shit was the most advanced special effects at the time. I had NO other toys from that point on. It was Star Wars or nothing. I mean not alot of fun with those Sandlot action figures.

Army of Darkness, are you kidding me. Were you even aware that was the 3rd installment of that movie. Evil Dead 1 (1981) and Evil Dead 2 (1987). Army of Darkness takes off where Evil Dead 2 ends. You like Army of Darkness you HAVE to see Evil Dead 2. Evil Dead 1 was bad. Evil Dead 2 is bad, but so bad its good. A CLASSIC. Much better the Army of Darkness.

Goonies #1 still makes me LOL.

Saw Tango & Cash again yesterday, it still rocks. Teri Hatcher dancing to Don't Go, anyone?

Also, Spaceballs, and Showdown in Little Tokyo.
