Elation to utter dismay in a mere instant! I'm tearing my hair out! I need to punch something!

aye, a simple compain will get your money back. doesnt make up for what you could have won, but its something.

If you're playing lots of tables, make sure you have a backup connection, either dialup or wireless broadband.

Get a UPS battery backup as well in case your power goes out. Have your DSL/Cable modem, router, and computer system hooked up to that. If the power goes out for an extended period of time, then there isn't anything you can do (unless you have a generator), but if it comes back within minutes then at least it will keep you going and you won't have to miss out on any hands.

Even if you lose power and it comes back on right away, if you don't have a UPS, it will likely at a minimum restart your computer as well as your internet connection. It takes some time to get your computer back up and running and logged back into the poker site. With a UPS you avoid that situation.

One time my power went out for almost 2 hours and I was able to finish my SNGs as I was playing on a laptop so was running on its battery and then had my router and dsl modem on the UPS. Well worth the $100-$200 to invest in a good one.

was above avg stack, 2 tables left in a 9 table SnG, I lose net and end up blinding out in 10th I find out the next day.

And this is after dropping $500 into $24 turbos on FT and not hitting the monies once.
