    Default $5 - Bubble Hand

Villian was 12/6 over 121 hands. Blinds are at 100/200/25

    1) Do you just push this preflop instead of standard raising?
    2) What size bet do you make on the flop?
    3) Are you calling the push over your bet on the flop?

I play the same as you preflop, but you need to be aware that if you get shoved over, you have to fold. I haven't run this in SNG Wiz but I doubt that shoving pre would be +EV.

As played, I would bet a little more on the flop (maybe 800 or so) and you have to call the push IMO. There are a bunch of hands that you beat that he might play like this, including weaker Ax and all kinds of draws.

I ran the numbers and it's not a huge push.. pretty close.. so your pre-flop play is fine..

I would bet a little more and call the shove too and expect AJ or AT..

    edit: flush draw obv.

So you mean preflop if I get pushed over, then it's a fold...but on the flop, you are calling the push over every time?

Yes, because once you flop the A you hit your hand and are way ahead of a lot of hands that would call preflop, whilst if you get shoved over you don't fare that well against the sort of range that opp would shove over with - even with dead chips in the pot.
