Hand 1 (AA) - I would bet just a little more on the flop to try to build the pot. As played, I think the shove is a bit too much, if he had been aggressive I would either just flat call and hope he bets the turn or raise to something like 350-400 and hope he shoves over, if he had been passive I definitely raise and keep betting the turn if he calls the flop raise.

Hand 2 (33) - I think this is fine and I am actually surprised that he did not call given how many chips he already put in the pot.

1: Your flop bet is fine but I would bet a TAD bigger, but can't fault your size at all so no worries. As played, just call the flop raise in most cases. Turn is more read based on if I want to bet or c/rai.

2: Fine. Basically what taipan said, I am surprised he folded as well.

hand 1 - what others said, if you are positive he'll bet the turn when you call, definitely call..

    hand 2 - obv fine..

re-raising the flop in the first hand is pretty bad.

See Also: Yeti Theorm and think about lines with deep stacks on dry flops.

hand one- IDK how good of a player villian is but he most likely raised you because of how dry the flop was expecting you to fold...calling here IMO is the best play but I dont think your going to extract much more value out of it....I kind of like raising 320-375 here also....

hand two- like everyone else, played fine

rvrking22 - what are the merits of 3betting the flop as opposed to just calling in hand 1?

Hand1: Call reraise, try to get his chips in on later streets
    Hand2: fine

As I said above, it depends on reads on opp for me. If he's a passive calling station then I definitely put in like a min re-raise or slightly more since he won't fold and we can't rely on him to bet later streets for us (so we have to bet for him and let him call). If he's aggressive and will fire again on the turn as a further bluff then I definitely call the raise and let him do that.

yeah sometimes rr here is good but I would assume in most cases just calling creates a much wider range for getting more chips in on future streets
