Just played a $1 sng and things went smoothly untill the bubble. Then it took over an hour for someone to be elimanated. Short stackers would fold their blinds to a raise even though the only had like 5 times the BB left. Then that same shortie would raise and the big stacks would fold. While most of this was going on i was the second shortest in chips so i couldn't afford to call with any 2 was waiting for a pair or A/10 or better. I did make it a point to steal his blinds every chance i got. So anyway when i first got to the bubble i had like 2k in chips and managed to chip up to a little over 4K. Then with a around 4k in chips and the blinds being 600/1200 i shove utg with 8s get called with ace/6 . After wining the hand i have around 6k left. Then very next hand i get AQ and insta shove. I get called by Ts and suck out. So now it's hu. Only 2 important hands. Fist one i have 9s with about 7 k left. I shove and villan calls with Ax . My 9s hold and i take over the chip lead. Then i fold a couple hands and get my own Ax. At this point villan has less then 3x BB so i say An ace is the nuts hu and villan is so short the he's calling with any 2. He calls with a mid pair, then i flop 2 pair and win the tourney.
So anyway for those that don't wanna read all that. I hate sngs because people play so freaking tight on the bubble and thus short stacks are allowed to stay around to long. In micro sngs they play ass backwards. In the early stages any 2 will do ,then on the bubble when they should be attacking more often to steal from people just trying to survive, they all get tight as a ants A-hole.
