what? the turn smacks his raising range right in the face, but betsizing on the turn makes me think he doesn't have anything. raising would blow him off his air. idk i might even fold to the flop raise, am I too much of a nit?

Sorry guys, my levelling was apparently effective. Yes, fold it. I actually think this is probably a fold on the flop, until I have a read that says otherwise.

Please expound. I seem to be running into this a lot lately and usually I fold the flop, sometimes the turn, but feel super exploitable. I guess I need a read to call this, but I feel like I'm getting my BU steals played back at on a lot of low flops(esp. ones with draws out) like this.

Try checking back flops you don't want to play big pots on? This board is bad to cbet, I'm not sure if having a weak top pair on it makes it any better to c-bet when we are getting played back at a high percentage of the time and being forced to fold.

Calling the flop raise is a spew. There is no way you are checking the hand down the rest of the way and your hand can't stand the kind of pressure that is being put on here.

do you think you can profitably double barrel T8 on a T72ss if the turn isn't a spade or Queen/King/Ace? If not then continuation betting the flop makes the hand more difficult to play, and checking to induce a bluff/control the pot size makes more sense than protecting your hand. Additionally it's bad if you expect to get check/raised at lot since we are probably SA/WB.

I don't mind a pot control line against tags that you don't have a dynamic with however I think folding turn here is standard/fine cause this shouldn't be a bluff that often due to the amount of chips it takes for this move. My standard is still to b/c b/f here.

When TAggs who play lots of tables and don't defend often enough defend, you're going to have to think a little deeper than just bet/folding the flop and being done with the hand. He's got a better hand than you and if he's capable of good post-flop play you will get played back at. Hence, you should be giving up sometimes and checking behind some goodish hands and weak draws balanced with some flop bluffs (which will work more often if you don't auto-c-bet) and value bets.

Your pre-flop play won you some Sklansky bucks, don't give them back with interest.
