if I remember right; in NLHTAP it's stated that the playability of a hand is mostly dictated by it's capacity to extract value after the flop.
Do you agree with that statement?
Fwiw, I've always thought Axs are often playable hands, even from UTG. But it isn't adviced very often, at least in the sources I use (FTR, 2+2, some NLH books...I read one thread in 2+2 a while back where it was mentioned as well).
It's an interesting topic imo, and a player of your quality going against the commonly giving advice triggers me to understand this.
