Actually you need exactly 2:1 or more to make this a good call, you get a little less, but I would still call... it's a thing of the principle.
+ good advertisement to the players on your right who don't know pot odds.

I just realized how short you are... That really is a bad spot. In that case I would go with the math, and hope you get to steal in the next hand.

I think it's not so bad to make a slight -EV move here by calling if you got the right stack because you get a little extra value by getting rid of another player when you win.
But I'm kind of lost now too. I'm curious what others have to say.

My mistake...fixed the math in my previous post. I think I am folding this one. If we had a stack of closer to $3K, then I think a call would be more in order.

I guess you'd have to be pretty sure he was on ATC for this to be ok w/o antes. I think our stack size is irrelevant in this spot, but I could be wrong
