I think the MSN client is probably a better program, but I use AIM exlusively mainly because that's what everybody always used when I was in school, and a lot of people I know still use it. Can't say the same for MSN.

I don't use either client (pidgin here) so i have an account on all the major IM services. Between that and the fact that I don't IM much I don't see any difference in the networks.

Trillian FTW. I have friends and family on both so I need this to not run them. MSN isn't bad though compared to AIM but why run either when oone program (trillian, pidgin) run both

I use MSN, but since I had my new PC with Vista installed, it is driving me mad. When I'm typing away in another application and receive an instant message, the MSN window steals the focus and the rest of what I'm typing ends up in there. I've tried turning alerts off, but it still does it.
