yeah it's too dangerous.. check and fold unless you make a straight IMO..

I could see betting a non scary card on the turn as you are more likely to get a call from a second or third best hand who thinks you are stabbing at the pot with air.

checking flop and betting turn if its a blank. Otherwise Im checking all the way down...One trend I have noticed is weaker button play. Either limping or minraising with a strong hand when folded to seems to be a more and more consistant thing.
