Default $5 - JJ on bubble

Villian was 38/19 over 69 hands...when the table got down to 4 handed he was 88/88 over 8 hands.

I find myself in this situation a lot lately. There is a player with <10 BB at the table and I have a big hand and don't know whether to standard raise or just push.

If I raise to 500 and SB shoves, then I am calling anyways.
If I raise to 500 and SB just calls, then I check/fold this flop and am left with 1985 in chips and still in decent shape.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $5.00+$0.50 Tournament, 100/200 Blinds (4 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB (t4200)
    Hero (UTG) (t2485)
    Button (t1555)

Hero raises to t2485 (All-In), 1 fold, SB raises to t4770, 1 fold

    Flop: (t5170) , , (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Turn: (t5170) (2 players, 1 all-in)

    River: (t5170) (2 players, 1 all-in)

Open shove seems fine to me, but if Villain has a habit of shoving over raises then a standard raise/call shove seems good too.

Just think about this in vacuum. If theres a donk whos going to call your shove wide in this situation...you shove and hope you hold if he calls. This is an extremely profitable spot...but sometimes you just have to realize your going to bubble sometimes
