Default $5 - KK vs big stack

Villian's stats were 49/18 over 33 hands. After the call on the flop, I put him on a hand like KQ, or QJ. If he had AQ, he probably would have reraised preflop. Do you just shove the turn or give him a chance to bluff at it like I did?

I make it 400 to go on the flop and shove the turn - sure, the third diamond isn't the greatest card for us but I don't think I can fold this at this level. Definintely don't hate checking the turn to give him a chance to bluff but you'd hate it if he checked behind and a fourth diamond came on the river - so I think I'd rather just shove this first on the turn considering the size of the pot already.

even if you don't care about a 4th diamond, which is reasonable, it will kill your action from KJ/QJ.

He called the flop, and he's getting 3:1 on a call if hero shoves the turn. I don't think he can lay it down here after he called on the flop.
As played I don't see how this is a tough decision. How can you possibly fold?

    lol nice one..

I don't pot it at the flop I bet a little less.. I actually don't like checking the turn because of the free card thing (flush, two pairs, etc.) I go all-in on the turn.. As played don't fold.. I'm normally expecting KQ, AQ, QJ here.. But not so sure since you posted it here

I bet the pot on the flop because there were 2 opponents in the hand. It doesn't matter what the opponent made (pair of Qs, flush, 2 pair, set, etc). I am basically pot committed on the turn, so I should just be shoving at that point anyways.

the question is bet the turn or c/c, I don't know why you're bringing up us folding. My feeling is that we may as well bet because we'll get called now but may not if a 4th diamond comes. Also a river A/K may kill our action.

Making a pot bet IMO is the only way to play this. The only thing I do different is : If im giving up on the hand the I OBV check fold, If Im thinking "double me up or send me home" then I shove the turn.

To be honest, anytime the donkeys call my pot sized bet and I dont improve the turn, I usually lose. You will have about 700 chips left and I think that's enough to still play effectivly...

when you bet let's say 400, the pot will be 1300 and you'll have 895 behind.. which is nicer than a 1500 pot with 795 behind..

That is true makaka....after looking at it that way, I guess either way probable works. The reason why I liked the pot bet is because I think it gives us the most folding equity into this pot.....

why do you want them to fold? they're not folding a hand better than yours.. if they have a draw you are pricing them well.. if he hits, it doesn't matter since he made a mistake..
