    Default $5 - QQ in SB - 5 handed

Villian was 44/12 over 34 hands. I didn't think villian would want to get involved in a big hand here with the 2 short stacks at the table. I am thinking I should just call his donk raise and see the flop and if no A or K comes then I can be aggressive with it. With my stack size, I am in good shape here and don't need to risk all my chips at this point.

I probably just shove over his donkminraise the first time around. As played, I'm getting it AI here and expecting to be ahead of his range.

move all-in pre-flop.. enough chips IMO.. As played don't fold.. He doesn't have to understand the importance of his stack size.. Many of the players don't..

I know I probably shouldn't do this, but I asked him why he would get all his chips in there with AK against a stack that would basically cripple him if he loses. His reply was "all or nothing"...great state of mind for SNGs, hahaha.

If he had AK, I would most probably have played the same as he did (other than the open donkminraise) without a very solid read on you.

This seems pretty standard to me...you lost a race.

you can't blame him much.. when you re-raise there's always the chance of you going away if he pushes (if there wasn't, you wouldn't ask this here). if you pushed, it's call or fold for him.. so he'd be the one posting such a hand maybe..

clearly a results oriented post. A 44/12 is on a huge range here...flatting would be so terrible. Having a healthy stack size doesnt mean you should try to preserve it in order to avoid a hugely profitable situation. I think you get max value if you make it 1k, giving yourself a potsized bet on the flop you can shove in. Shoving over with 20bbs against a weak looking button minraise is going to fold a ton of hands...I don't mind letting villian try to catch a flop

Milkerson, Most of the hands you post are played decent. You can't dwell on the beats but try to improve your chip stack when you have the opportunity to steal. Im posting hand that I want you to look at. This is the kind of hands you should be posting.

So in this situation I have a good stack and have been playing tight. what do you think?

First off, you could at least get my name right.

You seem to try and guess why someone is posting (ie. villian hit their flush or straight). It's not about the outcome for me, but about making sure I am playing it right for the next time that situation comes along. Usually I am making the right plays, but sometimes I am not 100% sure and just want the extra reassurance.

What is the point of your example...is it supposed to be a joke?

Sorry about spelling your name wrong mikeneron.
This is not a joke, but my point exactly.
This is a great stealing spot....you have 2 small stacks and what I like to call a Comfortable stack to go through. You haven't been aggressive and it doesn't look like a blatent steal. Raise 3 x and take down the pot....
