    Default 77 BvB

No reads on villain, 1st hand at the table. 10 players from ITM if that matters.

    Bodog $22 6k gt. Blinds: 200/400, Antes: 50.

    SB (8,900)
    BB (11,900)

    Hero is dealt [7c7s]

7 folds, SB raises to 1,650, Hero??

Reraising seems awful b/c he can just stop and go me ftw. Reshoving seems sketchy at best. Calling seems bad with my non-existent implied odds (although I do have position in the hand). Folding seems terribly weak BvB. I do not like any of my options here, whats the play?

just because you're in position doesn't mean you're in a good spot to take advantage of it. often being OOP is better, sometimes it doesn't matter at all or so little other factors take precedence.

shove is probably standard, I'd say re raise is best because sometimes he'll do something really awesome like call with QT and c/f the flop. you can't be stop and go'd because re raising pre then folding the flop would be the most epically dumb thing ever and you know you won't. If he THINKS he can stop and go you mores the better and he can get the other half of his stack in with a 6 outer rather than a flip.

Main reason I did not like this was his 4x raise, which is very non-standard BvB in the metagame of buyin's I play. If he had 2.5 or 3x'ed it I was snapshoving. I guess betsizing tells do not count enough for me not to shove eh?

Some people look at 77 when HU and they think they have a monster and so should you. I like a shove or stop n go.
