    I call

You're only afraid of a ten. Your check on the turn could be interpreted as a shut-down after a failed continuation bet on the flop. He probably figures your range to include middle pairs, AK, AQ, KQ. His range is just as wide.

I'm also afraid of a flush, the flop call would explain that as well. I think the $300 bet is asking for a call but with TPTK I think the price is still right to find out getting almost 4:1.

I don't think you can rule out KJ/J9/J8/KQ and other randomness to fold with the odds your getting. Definetly a crying call tho

For me this would be read dependant. If I think this is a decent thinking player...I call...If he's been loose and stupid I fold...

call, if you don't call here you have to b/f turn.

That seems a little aggressive to me in this spot. Hero is either dominated or dominating. I get why he would have to b/f the turn but IMO. Just a call here would also allow hero to see what hands villain is playing to a raise from the BB. IF I WAS GOING TO CALL, I would rather call the 300 plus get information. Instead of betting out and folding to a raise wondering what he had. I also think just calling gets hero away from the hand MUCH cheaper.

I didn't say I didn't like checking the turn, I'm just saying checking the turn then folding river is extra horrible. If we check the turn, we're hoping he makes a small bet on the river that we can call.

His line is really scary here.. I agree with drmcboy about the call but it wouldn't be too much of a mistake if you folded too.. If he had a J, he would just bet it or at least raise your bet on the flop.. You're only beating some missed PPs or missed draws trying to bluff you IMO.. I would surely fold to a bigger bet here..

x2! Which is exactly what villain did. So I'd say call that river.
