    Default Bonus Clearing

I've been "loyal" to Pstars since I started playing SnGs in early June and I'm looking to branch out. I'm putting in some better volume (approx. 160 a week or so) and I think I should probably be clearing some $500 bonus on Bodog or something. sitandgoplanet.com has their rankings of bonus sites, and they put Carbon Poker as the best site (200% bonus up to $600) but it seems kinda hard to clear their bonus in a reasonable amount of time.

Does anyone have experiences with the bonuses on Bodog, Carbon Poker, or Absolute Poker, clearing through SnGs?

Bodog seems to clear at a decent pace from what I remember, however good luck getting your money off the site when you cash out, I'm on week 4 and I still have 4 weeks of waiting to go. I know the reload bonuses expire after 30 days but they do pay you to the penny for what you clear.

AP's bonuses do not expire but it does take longer to clear, I still have $70 left from what I'm eligible for. AP also charges $8 per check when you cash out. I've never used AP to cash out so I do not know how timely they are.

FWIW, I believe UB is very similar to AP especially now that they will be merging. Full Tilt is 90 days on their bonuses but they only pay out in 10% increments, so if you earn 59% of your bonus amount you'll only get 50% of it. You'll need to check my info on Tilt, I could be wrong on one or two details as its been a while.

I can confirm, your assumptions on Full Tilt.

10% increments, but I think its 120 days, not 90. My Bonus from the beginning of September doesn't expire until January.

You need to take a long hard look at what stakes you will be playing, and estimate how fast it will take you to clear the bonus.

They match up to $600, but if you aren't earning enough points, it's pointless to deposit the whole 600.

So figure out how many hands/tournies you will play, and at what stakes. Then you can estimate how much bonus money you will clear over 120 days. And make sure you deposit an amount so that the 10% increment will hit often enough.

I only deposited $100 to get started since I only planned on playing $2.25 SNG's and 5c/10c Ring games. It's been about a month and I've earned about $30 of my bonus. So I'll probably hit it before the four months is up. I should have deposited 150. I learned the hard way.

Also, look on Full Tilt's site and see if you can find the "happy hour" schedule. If you play certain games at certain times, you can earn double, or even triple full tilt points. This is a HUMONGOUS benefit when bonus clearing. So make sure you pay attention to that. Sometimes if I'm running real good at 5c/10c, I'll jump up to 10c/25c when happy hour starts to earn more points.

I havent tried this but from what I have heard. Multi table omaha8 to clear bonus. Or play a TON of heads up cash. These two, along with linking the "happy hours" will clear a bonus in no time.

pretty sure you're wrong here. You get extra points, but only the base points (not the 2x/3x) count towards bonus clearing.
