Default Being put in an awful spot by a 50NL donk.

Villain is typical short stack 50Nl donk. Just the sorta guy that limp folds a lot pre, apart from that I've not seen much of his play.

What do I do against these donks when folding, calling and raising are all horrible?

Ps: Min riases make me mad!

I like shoving here, but also a call would work here too... and a crai on the turn... since it doesnt seem like we are going to be able to get away from this hand.
it would help knowing what his stats where though

My guess, it that he doesn't know where he is at or why he is raising.
If he's terrible like you indicate, I 3bet/call here on the flop. I see hands as bad as A7 from true donks.
If he is competent, then you just ran into TT or a set. A good short stacker wouldn't have any 87's or T9's in his range.
The safe thing to do is fold it and move on. 99 doesn't have a ton of equity in this pot anyway. The right thing to do is go with your read on the opponent. Do you want to whine about your best or fuck the prom queen?
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

donk who sees a lot of pots = an 8 you beat is a good chunk of his range here. OESD also.

when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

I think A8 is the top end of his range. Dont be surprised to see 7X, 3X or 44, etc. Shove and let him ship you monies.
Just dipping my toes back in.

You don't know what the hell he has nor know enough to even guess if he's going to screw around with a lot of weak stuff or if this is his TP+ or even 2P+ line. Just stick the money in and feel ok about it.

the shorties I play with usually just ship their marginal hands in this spot. I snap-call a shove but I feel like folding to this (ya I know it's terribly exploitable but ppl suck).

wtv, different limits, prob very differnet player pool

50BB deep you have to 3bet here, he surely has some TP in his range so 3bet is def the best play
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

I actually kind of agree with Genitruc here. I hope my graphs don't start swinging like his!

But at the same time, donks are so random, putting it all in has to be profitable over the long run. So not exactly a fist-pump but still a good time to get 'er in.

also agree with geni but shipping it is probably close enough to breakeven

def not saying there s anything wrong with shipping

but over the past 50-100k hands or so after continuously saying "fk me he slowplayed a big pair and now is gonna get me to put it in drawing to 2 outs" and seeing my read confirmed, I've started folding in this spot from time to time without feeling too dirty about it.

Thanks for all the comments on this one guys, not the most tehcnical of hands but a situation that pops up a lot with all the donkaments and what not.

I shiped it and he showed 77 for the oh so amazingly decietfully played set.....Glad y'all think its a half stack cooler.
