    Default 2 hands at 100nl

Hand 1; Opp in BB is 19/14/38%AF%/173 hands. He doesnt 3bet much so squeezing isnt a thing he does. The CO is a 17/12 but opens 25% in CO so i opt to play him IP.

Hows my line?? Am i missing value on river by not betting/shoving??

Hand 1: I think you can value bet thinly on hand 1 (too thin?) and get a call from JT or some other 2 pair, I don't think he has a queen here.

Hand 2: Your pretty much always beat here I might also fold the turn.
Flopping quads and boats like its my job

This one always had me wondering. In my memory al lot of good players advise to check behind the turn here. I don't get why, isn't the only thing we accomplish is giving one or two overs a free card to draw out on us?

Would you also check behind A9?

why did you call the turn in hand 1
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

thx for comments so far guys.

    Hand 1:

ok my thinking on calling turn was with the fact i will call a river shove.

my thoughts on his range were it doesnt include any semi bluffs so no stuff like KQ, JQ,QT since they will simply call, also the only hand im behind is 222 since he wont play AQ like that imo. i doubt AQ will float me oop on flop THO my line looks a little bluffy on flop.

so when im raised on turn i figure its either a discounted set since theres only one set range im behind and compare it to the amount of 2 pair hands im ahead of. so i guess i cud just shove turn but since the range of hands im ahead of have so little outs vs me i felt i could just call turn to keep my range wider and call his river bet. i dont feel i need to shove turn for protection since i figure he doesnt have any pair+draws.

also hows my bet sizing on turn, i considering now that when a turn card comes that helps opps range but im still ahea i can bet alot larger on turn than usual. should i bet any larger than $21 -> $27. hmm now im thinking that $21 is actually my standard bet size so maybe $25 is a better bet.

on river i expected him to shove but since i kept my range wide-ish he cud beleive i have a Qx hand. i think i missed out on value by checking since i figure im up against 222, KJ,KT,JT.

    Hand 2:

    I though this hand maybe standardish but its interesting some think i should check turn but heres my thoughts;

bet turn with the best hand for protection and immediate value since theres alot of FDs and Str8 draws. Plus opp can call with worse hands since i cud be just floating opp in first place with missed gutters and draws too. so i figure i can get one more street of value and plan to check back pretty much all rivers.

Psst Santacruz i shouldnt open fold turn

Psst minsim id def consider A9 a bet on hand 2

you had less than 1/3 pot behind just put it in. when you call a c/r with so little behind it just looks like u got the nuts. And there are some really bad river cards for your actual hand.

nuts when/what types of hands do you take the call/call line with instead of just shipping the turn?
