    Default low buy in MTT

hey i was wondering if theirs any strategy links or posts on here for low buy in MTT, i play MTT with buyins usually around 5 bucks, i play really tight early and usually get down to the bottom 20-25% of the field i know this is the time to loosen up because of the high blinds + antees and steals are more important but i usually find myself fairly below the average chip stack, making steals tough because i usually get called my mediocre hands, and if i do double up or end up stealing blinds i usually wind up in similar situations untell i do get beat or run into a big hand. the reason that i'm saying this with low buy ins it seems that the caliber of players is a lot worse which i know is an advantage but so many of them get huge monster stacks early. sorry for the long post if anyone has any links to posts or articles that focus on low buy in mtts please let me know i'm some need of some help tyhanks

All I play in MTT's is micro buy ins - $1-$5 and I benefitted from soupie's thread in the MTT section. It's incredibly long, but well worth the read. If you haven't checked it out, invest some time.
The only comment I have other than that would be, with poorer players don't try trickery, they don't get it. Play straightforward.

Stick the the basics and play as tight as you can, while taking the opportunity to seem some flops that you can limp with hands with potential.

All you really need is a few good hands out of a few hours to stay competitive with the field. When you get those good hands, make sure to make people pay.

In addition, like Kijjo said, read soupie's thread on MTT poker. Its extremely valuable and a good read.
