Default Bottom pair and non-nut flush draw ($27)

Opp's stats were like 30/14 over 65 hands. Can't remember any other specific reads beyond that. How is this line? Does anybody lead the flop rather than go for the C-R AI?

yeah this gives you the maximum chance to fold a PP. If you both had 3k+ I would want to lead out and hope you could maybe 3 bet him off a weak Q but I don't think he'll fold like Q9 here.

The problem with leading the flop is that opp could raise and gain the FE edge over you. Also if you bet out and he calls you have a decision of whether to commit on the turn. By going for the check-raise, you give yourself an opportunity to catch up on the turn if he checks behind, and a great opportunity to win the hand by shoving him off the hand after his bet.

I would take this line the majority of the time.

I dont really like it, I think your overbet is way too much.

I would lead on the flop, hoping to pick the pot right there; as played I would reraise a bit to about 600 and take it from there

c/r seems tons better than leading as ppl love stabbing after the blinds check

The problem is that if he checks behind you gave him a chance to improve for free

But we also give ourselves a chance to improve... if we do indeed have the best hand right now, there aren't many turn cards that will put villain in the lead.

I think the benefits of trying to see the turn cheaply with the option of check-raising AI outweigh the downfall of giving a free card to a hand that we're ahead of.

Like I said, I think we check with the intention of check-raising in the hopes of seeing the turn for free, so we have the opportunity of making a really strong hand.

P.S. I'm writing this post in class so I haven't had a chance to make sure it is coherent lol
