With my current stack against the blinds, I'm guessing this is the right call, but I just want to make sure. Villain had been pushing almost every hand for an orbit or so and this was the only hand I saw all game (literally the only hand worth playing) and I had to make a move soon.

I'm happy to push with 99 but to call depends on villains antics. He's bound to have at least one over. Even junk like K 10 makes it a flip.

Normally an UTG raise like this usually indicates a hand that an opponent is uncomfortable playing on the flop. For example, medium pocket pairs or hands like AK/AQ and an opponent doesn't know what to do when an A or K does not flop.

In this case with your information the opp is probably pushing light and you are well above his range. I call and face the music.
