    Default To value-town or not?

Table is really nitty, except for BB, he's 40/30 (only through 10 hands though). There are 29 people left in this 180-man and I have just under avg. stack to start the hand.

Wow... with that range and little history, do you think he had Ax and hit two pair, now is just calling it down hoping you didn't set your 7's?

I mean with a wide range villian, is it best here to continue down the path we are on or check it down after the turn call?

I know I'm torn... you're a little under halfway through your stack on this hand... or is he a busted flush draw?.... hmm... tough spot. IDK.

What is your reasoning behind the preflop min-raise?
Field mice are fast, but owls can see in the dark.

I guess since you minraised, his range includes any ace. I'd bet/fold 2K on the turn and shovel the river if he called and checked to me again (assuming the 9 kicker still played).

Without more of a read on how villain plays post flop i vote NOT.
Success is how high you bounce after hitting bottom.

    QFT

Villain pays you off with plenty of worse aces and maybe even the 4 or some pp's if he is just a station (which there are plenty of at this buy-in lvl). Sometimes he has a boat here or 777 but other than that ur good.

Sidenote: If you are worried about him folding a weak ace to a river bet or shove, and only calling with hands that beat you, DON'T. Players at low stakes that play ace rag will NEVER EVER EVER fold if they pair their ace. I have seen it a million times, and they are just not familiar with the concept of being outkicked.

my gut reaction is to check behind, but Ive been working on vbetting when it's not painfully obvious they can call with worse.
