    Default Interesting Semi-Bubble spot [5,50]

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $5.00+$0.50 Tournament, 100/200 Blinds (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Button (t195)
    SB (t2805)
    Jizzy Sawya (BB) (t5750)
    UTG (t1370)
    MP (t3380)

    Jizzy Sawya's M: 19.17

Preflop: Jizzy Sawya is BB with ,
UTG raises to t600, 4 folds

    Total pot: t500

    Results in white below:
    UTG didn't show
    Outcome: UTG won t500

Now the point of discussion: by folding here, i prolong the bubble. BTN has less than 1BB left, and current aggressor is the next short stack. Keeping UTG short now (by not taking chances now) will be the most +EV move we can make here.

    yay/nay? discuss.

As I mentioned in the other thread, the shortstack raise of 40/50 his stack but not pushing is usually a monster. A limp is even more obvious, unless it's a total donk limping JTs /A3s or something.

If you have a read that he's not going to make ridiculous bubble calls with K9o and the small blind is folding most of the time, it's probably a good fold.

Bleh I probably just shove it here and hope that he doesn't have an overpair. Donks will raise here with all sorts of crap and will sometimes even fold. Plus you can take the hit and still be the big stack.

I'd worry less about prolonging the bubble in this spot (it would be applicable if you were the monster stack with like 8500 chips, you were in the SB and the BB had 2x BB and you folded your SB to him) and more about what UTG's likely range is based upon your prior reads and observations.
