    Default Bubble Tactics

Here is an interesting situation I ran into yesterday.

Begs the question: How do you know whether you should be stealing blinds or holding tight.

Is there a certain ratio of chips vs average stack (specifically of folks to your left) where you should be stealing vs just holding on.

Example bubble time is here (lets just say 5 to go before money on a 300 person tourney where 45 get paid.

Average stack is $10K- blinds are 750/1500
    You have 15K
To your left you have the following:
1-Chip leader on your table with $40K
    2- 3K
    3- 20K
    everybody else has between 5-10K

do you try to steal here (assuming the chip leader is a sensible player) or do you wait it out and let him do the "raping"

Typically, one should steal less when their stack or the players yet to act have a stack that is 10M. With a 10M stack you should be looking for a hand that you don't mind standard raising and calling all in shoves. If raising into 10M stacks, you might find players shoving over your raise either as a resteal or a real hand and you will be getting the right odds to call. So in both situations, make sure you are ready to get your chips in.

I don't raise here unless I'm willing to call the shortstack push. It also depends on my image and how often I've been stealing lately...
